3. Seminar in Deventer (Netherlands), 22 to 24 June 2006

Based on the identified barriers and good practices towards a better integration of third country nationals through volunteering, the participants of the third information seminar focused their discussions on formulating recommendations for policy makers and practitioners from the volunteering sector. The key question was “How can the relevant stakeholders enhance volunteering as a means of better integration?”
Some of the recommendations have been addressed and discussed by a panel composed of representatives from government and voluntary sector, both at European and national level.
